THOUGHT GARDEN

1/12/2026 I watched a seagull scarfing down an orange peel near a tide pool and it made my day. It reminded me to look at the squirrels and see how well they climb trees. It reminded me to wonder what trouble the midnight raccoons get up to. It is rare that we give these animals our curious and loving attention. I want to make sure I say a friendly hello to animals by meeting their eyes, especially those ones I see most. My neighbors!

I'm learning a lot about the animals in this world with the strongest bite forces. I'm not sure why I want to know about those specifically. Maybe I like seeing that even the most dangerous animals should not be as feared as driving on the freeway. Thank you great white sharks, orcas, and crocodiles! I loved learning about you!
